Inhibits calmodulin-dependent stimulation of cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase (IC50= 17 ?M). Acts as a peripheral vasodilator. An inhibitor of TNF production. Inhibits nitric oxide synthase (NOS) in mouse brain and prevents lipopolysaccharide induction of NOS in murine lung. Shown to potently and specifically inhibit KSP/Eg5 (IC50<10 ?M), and PLA2.
