14:0 PC-d54 is suitable to reconstitute [ILV-¹³CH₃, U-15^N, 2^H] labeled EmrE in n-dodecyl-β-D-maltopyranoside (DDM) back-exchanged to 1_H at the amide positions during nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) sample preparation. It is also suitable for the preparation of phospholipid liposomes.
