性质描述:

黄色粘稠液体。沸点265-270℃（2.0kPa），225℃（0.4kPa），相对密度1.2774（20/20℃），折光率1.4890。溶于水和乙醇，不溶于乙醚。易吸水。

生产方法:

有三种生产方法。1.甘油二聚法2.由烯丙醇与丙酮反应3.由环氧氯丙烷与氢氧化钠反应在工业上，一缩二甘油是合成甘油的副产品。在以丙烯为起始原料，采用丙烯醛法和环氧氯丙烷法生产甘油时，烯丙醇和环氧氯丙烷分别是过程的中间体。

用途:

一缩二甘油分子含有4个羟基，是一种具有酯化、醚化等多种反应可能性的有机合成中间体。主要用于制备脂肪酸酯，用作乳化剂和消泡剂。一缩二甘油的主要衍生物及用途：二甘油四甲基丙烯酸酯：粘合剂的单体。二甘油油酸酯：消泡剂，润滑油防锈剂，聚氯乙烯包装材料的无滴剂，食品、人造奶油和黄油的乳化剂。二甘油蓖麻醇酸酯：刹车油原料，乳化剂和消泡剂。二甘油硬脂酸酯：食品乳化剂、涂料和洗涤剂的添加剂，防雾剂，含有溶剂的洗净剂、鞋油、蜡等的防蒸发剂。二甘油月桂酸酯：乳化剂，洗涤剂的添加剂。二甘油的环氧乙烷加成物：破乳剂、防静电剂、脱模剂。二甘油的环氧丙烷加成物：聚氨酯的原料，脱模剂。二甘油的三烯丙基醚：合成橡胶的软化剂。
