Intermediate for sol-gel coatingsTungsten(VI) ethoxide is used in nano-materials, thin films, display and imaging, optics and glasses. It is also used for x-ray screen phosphors, fireproofing fabrics and in gas sensors. Also, it acts as an intermediate for sol-gel coatings.
