该品为固体结晶。98%的工业品熔点为89-91℃。

生产方法:

由邻氨基本甲酸甲酯溴化而得。将邻氨基苯甲酸甲酯与15%的盐酸搅拌混合，冷至5-15℃，滴加溴素-盐酸混合液。加毕，于15℃以下反应1h，加氢氧化钠溶液调整pH值为2。过滤，水洗至中性，低温干燥，得成品，收率为90%以上。

用途:

用于药物溴已胺的合成。
