生产方法:

由苯酐经缩合、水解、加氢、酸中和而得。（1）缩合苯酐与苯乙酸缩合得苄叉酞酐。（2）水解、加氢、酸中和苄叉酞酐水解为邻苯乙酰苯甲酸钠，再加氢得邻β-苯乙基苯甲酸钠，用盐酸中和，经乙醇精制而得邻β-苯乙基苯甲酸。

用途:

医药阿米替林的中间体。
