Exo2 is a bioactive small molecule that activates Golgi-endoplasmic reticulum (ER) fusion in mammals by distorting the Golgi apparatus. It prevents the release of secretory cargo from the ER. Exo2 do not modify the morphology of the trans-Golgi network (TGN).
