性质描述:

浅黄色针状结晶。熔点240℃（分解），易溶于乙酸，乙酸乙酯，溶于热水，不溶于冷水，苯和汽油。易燃。

生产方法:

由苯酚亚硝化生成对亚硝基苯酚，经转位成对醌单肟，再与盐酸羟胺反应得该品。在搅拌下，慢慢将苯酚溶于30%氢氧化钠溶液，在0℃与亚硝酸钠混合，再加入30%硫酸，使温度保持在7-8℃，搅拌1h。滤出结晶，用水洗去酸性，得对亚硝基酚。再经转位，与盐酸羟胺水溶液混合，加热至70℃进行肟化反应。反应毕，过滤得对苯醌二肟。原料消耗(kg/t)苯酚 1500盐酸羟胺 1200亚硝酸钠（97%）1600

用途:

用作丁基胶、天然胶、丁苯胶、聚硫“ST”型橡胶的硫化剂，特别适用于丁基胶。氧化剂（如Pb3O4，PbO2）对其有活化作用。在胶料中易分散，硫化快，硫化胶拉伸强度高。临界温度比较低，有焦烧倾向。加入某些防焦剂（如苯酐，防焦剂NA）、秋兰姆、噻唑类、二硫代氰基甲酸盐类促进剂能有效地改善操作安全性。该品有变色及污染剂，只适用于暗色制品。当用促进剂DM作活性剂时，抗焦烧性要比氧化铅好，变色性也减弱，但炭黑胶料例外。当以四氯苯醌为活性剂时，活化作用比氧化铅强得多。该品主要用于制造气囊、水胎、电线电缆的绝缘层、耐热垫圈等。用量1-2份。与氧化铅10-6份或促进剂DM4-2份配合。对苯醌二肟是测定镍的试剂。
